Get ready for the ride of your life. The Airboat Tour begins by winding down the canal, providing plenty of photo ops to catch wildlife in their natural habitat. Experienced guides offer tips to ensure you spot alligators large and small, as well as soft-shelled turtles and birds you won’t find anywhere else. (Keep your camera ready!) And watch out for Jumbo: a favorite in these parts and an impressive 9 feet long, Jumbo likes to play host and greet Gator Park’s guests.
Hold on to your hats as the Airboat picks up speed and heads for the river of grass. What looks like miles of flat land is in fact expansive wetlands, perfect for aquatic creatures. The Airboat is your only link to dry land out here, save the few tree covered islands, or hammocks, where raccoons, whitetail deer and wild boar run wild.
The water may be shallow, but this is no place for swimming. Gator Park’s airboats all sport Cadillac engines and high performance airplane propellers for an Everglades experience like no other. These airboat tours allow you to get close enough to touch the tall grass…or even make a new friend. Looking for even more adventure? Try a private tour.
Airboat tours depart every 20 to 30 minutes, so you’re always just a few minutes away from coming face to face with an alligator. Book your airboat ride now to get up close and personal with a Florida gator.
I am so envious that you are getntig some rain. That was a little problem but besides that it was an awesome tour I think we should do it again when my parents get back from Kansas they will love to see the Alligator show performed by Edgar he is a real master of the reptiles.
Thanks for such an informative trip full of facts
